This is a Forever Pencil that should not lose it's writing ability for a long time and does not need sharpening. However, they do tend to write a little lighter than a generic pencil, but still fun to have and enjoy for a very long time. They do come in different colors and are all custom designed, depending on product availability. (I do sell extra lead tips listed on my site under replacements.)
